Rhodochiton, sorry first one is out of focus, but you can see it fully opened. It is also known as the P e n i s Plant, you can see why. :lol:

Abelia, growing round the trunk of our flower cherry tree.

Ginkgo Biloba Tree. It may be a tree but it only about a foot high as each time it grows higher the dogs manage to break bits off. :evil:

Potentilla, getting very straggly now, might dig it out.

Fuchsia, name long forgotten. It's hardy though, survived many winters, frosts and snow. It even flowered all through the winter of 2008.

Japanese Anemones, getting my own back with these as they are now growing in my neighbours' garden, the root system having gone under the fence.

Hebe, variety unknown. This was planted over the ashes of our beloved standard poodle, Jack.

I enjoyed looking at those.

I know we have had an unusual amount of rain this year, but I think the flowers in my garden have seldom looked better. Every cloud has a silver lining!

So true Monika. Strangely the only thing in my garden that seems to have suffered this year is my rhubarb.
