Had a wonderful but tiering day at Cambridge Botanical Gardens yesterday, weather was perfect, Another hectic day today, bowls match this afternoon country music club tonight, then a quite restful weekend,

Its a lovely bright sunny day here,I went out to post my postal vote for July 4th and it was lovely and warm.Hardly any wind for a change.I have got a little moth on the net curtain so I am hoping he will go out the window.

Been so hot the last few days, but today is a bit cooler, am glad as I am off to a game of bowls soon, but will have to water garden pots when I get back.

Had perfect weather yesterday for my bowls match, plenty of cloud and a gentle breeze, been really hot today but only been for a swim then sat in garden in the shade.

Not seen ciderman anywhere, hot again today but only been to my line dance group did not do a lot of dancing, not got much else on for the rest of the week, bought some more plants for my veg trough so will be busy doing that .

Matariki (Maori New Year) tomorrow. I took the rubbish bins up to the roadside this morning. Bloody cold! I only walk about 50 metres and I was exhausted. Had a trip in the St John's health shuttle to Wellington, yesterday for my 6 monthly blood check up and there were 5 people plus the driver. It was a bit like a social outing. Lots of laughter ! It's about a 2 hour drive and of course, different appointment times made it a day out from 8am to back home at 4pm.
Glad you all getting a bit of summer.
