Autumn is with us! The Liquid Amber tree is shedding leafs all over the lawn.

So I was left to pick up 28,516 of them!

You Antrum, us Summer, well hope our summer is coming, been nice for a day or two but a bit chilly this morning,

Great picture, just as though you were sitting looking at my back garden, I can see why you enjoy gardening. Wish I could get out to enjoy mine. I have a lady gardener come once every two weeks but she is away for two weeks. Son is trying to arrange time to get over and at least cut the grass. Hope everyone is keeping well and preparing to pop in a few words. cheers

Chilly start today but the sun is shining! Can't complain as it is now officially winter.

Feels like winter here yesterday, I put my heating on for a couple of hours yesterday evening,

Strange weather, the sun keeps playing hide and seek, at the moment it is very dull and rather cold. My son bought a tall bird feeder so that I have something to look at. Every time he fills them up the birds go wild until they manage to knock the containers over on to the lawn. Every morning, some unknown person is kind enough to pick up the containers ans leave the by the front porch door. I think it is the person who delivers the newspaper, so, whoever I have left a large notice with THANK YOU on it. Does that sound a bit stupid. Anyway, have a lovely 1st. June and fingers crossed we will have a good summer. Love your little doggie Ciderman. cheers

Well it started off nice and sunny, I put on a short sleeve top, just come in and changed it, sun gone, oh well, it is summer!!!

What a miserable old day. Very dull, no sun and quite cold. Nothing like the forecast. Hope N.Zealand has better weather. Thought we were on the way to summer, looks as though I am wrong again. cheers

The weather is really miserable today, dark clouds and intermittant rain. Glad we missed this yesterday when my daughter trimmed our hedge.

Not raining but grey , cold and miserable!

Morning all, started off very bright and sunny today but... we have warnings of heavy rain and thunder. Just checked and we have yellow warnings of very heavy thunder.
Grandson has just come back from six months abroad and just being picked up at the airport. Hoping he gets home before the bad weather starts. cheers. Big hug for doggie.
