Morning all, beautiful day so far. Lovely and sunny but bitter cold. Not a single cloud to be seen in a beautiful blue sky. Looking out it is rather windy. Wonder if snow is next. Dreading tomorrow as I have a dental appointment and I am such a coward. Keep warm all and enjoy the day. cheers

Penny, you've stolen our spring! Rain and gusty winds yesterday and more today by the look of it. Rosie is livid about the lack of walkies and sniffings!

Visit to the dentist was super. Made me laugh, he asked my age and then said.....How do you do it......Have an appointment for a blood check on Wednesday morning, just waiting to hear from son what time he is picking me up. Enjoy the afternoon and keep warm. Take care. cheers.

Still a bit cold here, but got hot at my exercise class this morning, glad your dentist was not too bad, does cheer you up when told you don't look your age, might only be politeness but still feels good. Just hope the blood test is OK, enjoy going where-ever with your son.

Went up to market this morning, then realised I had not turned on heating, but it was cold so glad to get home and now heating on,
I have an electric blanket on the bed, cannot get into bed without it being on and bed nice and hot, I have a blanket over my legs when I sit for an evening,
have found out my gas meter is not showing anything, it is a smart meter, so when they kept asking me to read the meter that is when I found out, so told them and a new one is being fitted 22nd, I'm just hoping my gas usages is not being counted, doubt it not my luck.

Good morning. Not good weather though as its raining all day and windy.I did have heating on but turned it off for a while as it is too expensive all day

Yesterday it cost almost £9 so I am going to try and wait till the evening to flick the on switch.I n the evening i have a blanket over my lap, hotwater bottle in the bed.I have got a heated blanket for my bed but not using it yet.

Pity your blood test was cancelled Penny.I have had a few blood tests done this year my yearly dose.I have a blood pressure check coming up I hate them as I get anxious before hand.

Hope you all keep warm and enjoy the rest of the day.I will watch a couple things that I have missed on the tv. :bighugs: :bighugs:

Very dull and miserable today. Cold. What a day to get up to, makes me think I should have stayed in bed. Nurse came and took my B.P. and just had a call saying I need a change in pills. Not one thing it's another. Hope Rosie has managed some decent walks. Take care all and keep warm. cheers.

Gosh I don't want any snow yet.Children love it but no thank you.I went to the shop today and came across a lot of wet leaves on the paths and was walking carefully as did'nt want to find any to slip on.

Was lovely to see the sun today it warms my living room up,so no need for heating yet.I have had a busy morning so rest of day will be a lazy one.Have got Strictly to watch this evening.

Hope your granddaughter has a lovely time in Las Vegas Penny.

Enjoy the evening keeping warm.I will have some chocolate and a wine or 2.

Last night was a beautiful evening! We had a visitor from Jill's past, who she used to work with for Intercontinental Hotels back in the 1970's, stay over . We had dinner outside of venison steaks, roast potatoes, broccoli and asparagus followed by chocolate cake with whipped cream. (You can tell that Jill used to run a restaurant!). Rosie is always so excited when we have visitors. She likes humans more than dogs!
