Afternoon all, Just had a terrific downpour with a little thunder. It has stopped now but I think we have lost the sunshine. Very dull and cloudy. On leaving the dining room I noticed another bunch of the scarlet ones widget. Beautiful flowers. Take care and keep dry folks. cheers.

Ha Ha, woolly jumper, not today thank you, am getting fed-up with all this heat, think we only have 1 more day, we have our bowls club end of season game Tuesday and rain is forecast, says it all.

Morning all. Very dull today, seems summer has gone. Looking out I have two jackdaws with their youngster whereas a few weeks ago it was costing me a fortune daily feeding dozens of rooks, blackbirds, and all the little ones. Have any of you noticed a shortage. Worries me because I spend a lot of time just sitting looking out. Hope you are all keeping well. Take care. cheers

I can't believe the weather after days of heatwave it is cold and very wet, we had our last club bowls game today, and it rained, so it was cut short and I came home very wet and fed-up, still that is the end of the bowl's season so autumn/winter activity programs start soon.

A funny day but no rain. The sun keeps playing hide and seek. Hope everyone has the same. Son in Leicester today and weather is the same as ours.........

Morning all. Sun has been trying very hard to be nice today but I understand there is a possible chance of showers today. Do hope they are not the horrid heavy ones we have been getting. I can see a slight breeze has just started. Good to hear Maisie and Laurie are still chatting. It often worries me thinking about how many of us on the forum are still about. The weather forecast is for gale force winds tomorrow! This has been the weirdest year for weather I have ever seen. We've got an election in October. Hope it's not as weird as the weather!
