Wet game got abandon after 16 ends, usually play 18, but the rain just came down so all gave up, and as a team we lost.
Hoping for better weather over weekend so I can get out in the garden.

I see winter is with us now! Grey skies and rain and wind. Still, on the bright side, we haven't had an earthquake for a while, at least not one we can feel from the 14000 a year. (That might be tempting fate!)

Morning all. Still the same dull weather and a very strong wind. Quite a few showers overnight. My garden birds are still eating me out of house and home. Must be very difficult for them to find food in this weather. ...Had a call from son and crew last night, they have super sunny weather and were sitting in the hotel gardens eating their supper. I am not much good at names but I think it is Mencat. Anyway, I have some lovely pictures of them. Take care all and have a good day. Big hug for Rosie.....P.S. Just started to rain now and very dark......

Good afternoon. We have had rain, sunshine, very windy that the birds have to hold on tight in the trees.I will be watching football in a while passes the afternoon away.

My 3 wheeler walker was short lived it was too heavy and dangerous to take downstairs I never tried taking it back up. :roflmao: Luckily my brother in law brought it off me.

Are you a football fan,Penny if so there is a lot to watch this afternoon.

Hope your team win a bowls game this afternoon Widget.

Morning all. Still very cold and windy. No maggeih? I prefer Rugby. :tantrum2: My trolley is a steel one on wheels, very useful as I cannot get about without it. It belongs to the hospital. Son and crew are having a fabulous time with super food. They deserve it after all they do for me. :grouphug: Hope all are wel, fingers crossed for the weather. Bug hug for Rosie. cheers....

Morning all. Very strange, yesterday I was chatting to my friend in Utah..USA,,,He hates hot weather so I suggested he sends a little of it to me....Imagine my surprise this morning to find such a love warm and sunny day. I am suggesting that now some of our miserable stuff will make him happy. Fingers crossed. Big hug for Rosie. ..cheers..

Morning all. Looks like another warm day with the sun popping in and out. Hope you enjoy your painting maggeih, How I wish I could do it. You must be very talented. Like widget, all she does in her garden. You are both very clever. Thankfully son and crew come home on Friday, they keep in touch and I am delighted they are having such a wonderful time. Take care and enjoy your day. Big hug for Rosie. :now:

It's lovely this morning after a few dismal days. Our shortest day is now past so things should be on the up. Rosie will get a walk (she always does! Regardless of the weather so if needed it's out with the raincoats, hers and ours,) but today should be OK. I'm not sure who gets the most benefits out of our walks. Is it her or is it us humans?
