Weather today

Good afternoon from a soaking wet Kent.Such a shame as so much was going on this weekend and its all been put off because of Bank holiday weather.

I had lunch out with my daughter yesterday and we sat outside in the lovely fresh air.For starters I had huge prawns with their heads and tails and shells still on.They were in a lovely warm sauce with chillies etc.My daughter had a huge dressed crab that was lovely.Then for our main meal we tryed Lobster.

First and last time for me trying Lobster.I found it rather chewy.The meat in the huge claw was the best for me as it tasted like crab meat.It was a fresh fish restaurant and all fish caught around Kent.Was a lovely lunch with a couple of glasses of wine.

Hope you all feel hungry now.ha ha.

Odd you should be talking about meals. My son took me to a place called The White Hart, Gun Lane, Sherrington and we had the most super meal ever, It was so good that it was the first time for years that I had ever cleared a plate. We had cooked prawns with chips, peas sauces etc. I could eat that every day. If you are out near the place one day do give it a try. cheers.

Lovely and sunny at present, had quite a lot of rain early on. My carer came early on and we were chatting. I thought for a minute I was going round the bend but I am sure I saw a black car and a little van with a red back popping next door. Enjoy the sunshine folks and take care. cheers........

Good afternoon.Has turned out lovely here now,was raining early on.I was chilly in bed lastnight,must have been all the rain we had yesterday.

Glad you enjoyed your meal out with your son yesterday Penny,looks lovely where you went.I have been trying to do my jigsaw this afternoon should finish it soom.

Well I am going to get comfy on the settee and see what is good to watch until bedtime.Being Sunday not much will be on.

Thanks maggieh. Just heard from G-daughter, her team won the motor race yesterday and she is now on her way to Milan for the next one. Hope the weather stays good. Have you finished your jigsaw yet. Good hobby.Take care and enjoy the weather, going to stay dry all day so I am informed.......

Your granddaughter has a lovely job Penny,travelling to lovely places.I saw some racing on tv yesterday and thought of your granddaughter.It was on channel 4 or 5.


Although it is sunny here,now and again it rains.It is windy as well today.

No I have'nt finished my puzzle yet,Penny.

Have a jolly afternoon watching tv,resting,or whatever you like doing to pass the time everyone.

Sorry to be late, thought had posted. Have you finished the jigsaw yet. Weather not been too bad, I guess we are lucky. Been having problems with tummy trouble. Just waiting for son to get stuff from the chemist. Hope you enjoyed your bowls widget, Take care all.

Hope you tummy problems get solved. Last league bowls game today very hot and we lost, so only a couple of club events to go then thats another year gone..

It's clear this morning but last night was frightening! Huge thunder and lightning reduced Rosie to a quivering mess! Didn't do us humans any good either , the house shook on several thunders.

Poor Rosie, they do not like thunder, hope she is alright now, been nice here for a dew days.
