Good afternoon.My day has'nt started off very well.Woke up at 4.30 to someone in the building playing loud music until 5.30 which was annoying.
Have since left a message asking my daughter if I can go there this morning but its afternoon now and no answer.She has seen the message.

Are you all fixed up for xmas and ready for the man in the big red coat.

It was a lovely bright sunny morning earlier on but gone dull now.

Hope your evening of mincepies and sherry went down well Widget.Hope Penny is ok.

Fine here, just off out to my last Christmas 'do', feel tired but after that not much for 2 weeks,
I am helping on Christmas day to give the old and lonely christmas dinner in the Community center, done it for years now, hard work but nice,
Merry Christmas to you all have a nice time what ever you are doing, and keep well and warm,
I am doing a very hard jigsaw at the moment, so it might be so time before you see it.

Lovely morning today after a really foul yesterday! A low key Christmas this year. Extended family are all over the place currently but might visit later.

Morning all, bit dull here and chilly, but I am in now till 25th when I go and help and the community center with dinner for the folk on there own, hard work but it is nice to see folk who would have been on there own having chats with others, was out last night so feeling tired today, think an afternoon nap might be good.

Hope every one's day went as planned, as you know, I help at out Community Center serving dinners for those folk on their own, well we had almost 70, it was hard work and I was shattered when I got home, but it was so nice seeing folk enjoying the meal and the company, they all went home with a box of Waitrose Shortbread biscuits and most also won a raffle prize, everything was donated, the kitchen crew cooked the meal, they worked the hardest.
I am getting worried about Penny, does anyone have details how we can contact her?

Good morning.My xmas day was lovely.It was better than I thought it would be.We went for a drink at lunch time for a hour or so.Then back to my daughters while she carried on cooking meat etc.We didn't get to eat anything until 6.30.We ate in the pub with the landlord and his wife(they cooked the veg and roast potatoes)My daughter cooked the meat and yorkshire puddings.I pre booked a taxi to take me home at 8.30.
Then on Boxing day I went to my son's where Logan lives and that was a lovely afternoon as well,My other 2 grandchildren were there as well and we all exchanged presents.I was brought home at 8pm.

I had 2 new jigsaw puzzles which I will be doing this afternoon,i have got the outside of the puzzle done.

I hope Penny is ok.Its a long time since she posted here 10 th December.I have'nt any contact details for Penny.Hopefully she will pop up soon like she did before.

You certainly had a busy day with 70 people to help feed Widget and they were all grateful for their day.Bet you slept well that evening.

Forgot to say my raffle prize was a jigsaw!!! Unusual one, in a tall round box it is of birds, not sure when I will get round to doing it.
My daughter and son-in-law came yesterday and put together my new bird table, looks great, but no birds on it yet, am a bit disappointed but still it might take time, as it is a different colour to my old one.

Am also worried about Penny,

Good morning it is dry here but cold,but could be worse like snow.

Lovely bird table Widget,hope the birds have used it now,maybe hang a bird on it not a real one though.

Fancy winning a jigsaw puzzle on the raffle,well done.The puzzle I am doing is named Cat & Plants there is a lot of green leaves in it.

Hope Penny pops in before the new year starts.
