Well here in New Zealand, the weather is beautiful and it is the 185th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, between the British Crown and Maori. It is a national holiday and includes celebrations in many parts of NZ a well as at Waitangi. Please feel free to have a day off!

Hi ciderman, so nice to hear from you, as you can see there is only me and maggie here now so would be nice to hear your stories from the other side of the world,
Hope all your celebrations went well, weather must be nice now, it is really winter here, very cold, as yet no snow in Norfolk.
I keep doing my puzzles and keeping busy.

I am going into bed with a headset on so I can't hear the awful loud music from someones flat.Itwas bad enough my nieghbours bathing early hours 1.30 am then again at 2.15 am.Their bathroom backs onto my bedroom.

I will have a afternoon doing my jigsaw puzzle,I will mark it on the calendar of when I started it and finished it. :roflmao:

Have a super day and keep warm.Heating on here.

Good morning Widget, the jigsaw vase looks lovely with flowers in.

Gosh I can see why some people have given up on their hearing aids.I am struggling to fit them in my ear canals. It will get easier when Ive got the knack I suppose. They are very time consuming I will say. They sit behind my ear which is good as my hair covers them. The dome is on a thin tube that feeds into the ear.

It is a dark gloomy day here need a light on indoors.

Nothing exciting has happened here this weekend. My eldest grandson is 26 tomorrow and the youngest grandson is 11 took a while to make him. :roflmao:

Have a nice day and keep warm.

I know what type of hearing aids you have, they look nice but the thin bit is fiddly to get in the ear, am sure you will get use to it, but is your hearing better?
Nice have 2 grandsons hope they live near you and are helpful,
I've been swimming today, usual but it was very warm,

I did enjoy doing that puzzle vase, not sure what to do with it, am doing a puzzle now of all the Carry on Films, might finish it tonight if not tomorrow, it's been cold and dark here it is raining at the moment, still I am dry and warm.

It has been a dark dreary day here with fine rain.Lights on indoors.Been a day of waiting today.Waiting for a shopping delivery. Then waited for Amazon, now waiting for the chap downstairs to come and collect his Amazon parcel.

When I go bed tonight I will be changing my landline phone over to charge a new handset up.I can't hear very well on the phone with aids in yet unless I have to turn them up loud.

I still have'nt done any jigsaw puzzle oh well will try in next couple of days. :roflmao:

Gosh your puzzle has been viewed 1506 times Widget. It is a lovely colourful jigsaw.

I have been to the shop this morning in the sunshine, very quiet out, although it is half term here.Too cold for the beach today.

I went out with my sister on Saturday then we went for some lunch we both had scampi and chips with peas plus a glass of wine.

I didn't get any valentine cards ha ha. :roflmao:

I best have a little tidy up and put my ironing away before I think of my jigsaw.
