I've had a busy few days, friday was my volunteering in the morning, U3A games in the afternoon and out to Country music club in the evening, and also out last night at a new Country Music event, did not get home till 11pm, Daughter just been with Hot Cross Buns, so now I am going to find the sofa and will be staying there for a long while, I will start off reading my book but not sure how long for, must get on with the puzzle later.
Your surprise trip sounded nice, was the food a bit 'rich' for you?
Have ordered that mattress cover, should arrive on Tuesday.

Good morning anyone that pops by. Pleased you have ordered a topper Widget, and enjoy sleeping on it.Please be careful that you don't roll out of bed.

It is a dreary looking day here, maybe it will brighten up soon.I was drinking Rose wine and that gives me acid reflux unfortunately.

Tomorrow evening I am going to watch my grandson at Karate,up to yesterday afternoon his Mum had'nt told him.So he might still not know.I will go over on the bus tomorrow afternoon and daughter in law will bring me back later.Buses stop running from there at 6pm.

You have a nice social life Widget. And helping out looking after people.Have a lovely day.

Nice and bright today, been swimming, had a nap, now thinking about getting something to eat.

Should get my 'bedding' tomorrow. not sure when I will have time to put it on the bed.

I do try and keep busy but feel I am slowing down a lot, made a fish pie this morning.

I am looking forward to a whole day at home then I can hoover my topper off and change the bed for the weekend.

Tomorrow afternoon I am going to the theatre to watch a show with Giovanni Pernice in it.He used to dance in Strictly Come Dancing although you probably don't know as you don't watch much tv.

It was lovely watching my grandson doing his Karate moves lastnight.

I am going to go to Bingo on Sunday with my son.

Hope Ciderman is ok too.

Hope you enjoy the show, no sorry never heard of him,
must be nice to watch your grandson, remember watching mine in a band, marching up and down.
don't like Bingo, have been sometimes when we have it at the bowls club, but not a great lover, prefer quizzes.
I have easy day tomorrow, just going up market then nothing. Friday I have only my volunteering, then might have fish and chips or tea.

Spent the week in hospital. Not my ideal choice but I must admit that the food was wonderful, the shower was great and the staff were so helpful and caring.

I managed to do mine on my own,I slid it across the floor where it had spent the 24hours breathing lol.Got a corner onto the bed and went from there,it does overlap at the bottom of the bed a bit but doesn't cause a problem. We did find it nice and comfortable and did feel rather warm but again all good.
I didn't get the same topper as my sister so think mines probably a bit lighter to manage but was the same price.
Another beautiful sunny day ready for our trip to Canterbury this afternoon.
Enjoy your day Widget

Well I do not do jigsaws as I can't start one and go back to it as the table is always in use,so when I am able I prefer to colour, but I do like seeing the puzzles that you both do.
Do you live near the Norfolk Broads as had a few boating holidays in the 60s.
Have you unpacked your topper yet Widget.
