I am just keeping my fingers crossed that Saturday will be OK weatherwise at Melton Mowbray because it will be the first time I have been out this year.
I am housebound now and very disabled but my lovely neighbour wants to take me to a WW2 venue at Melton and I hope to meet many who I have been in contact with on the net.
I will be 93 this month and this will be my birthday present from her.
Keep everything crossed for me.

At the moment here it is either pelting down or comes over very stormy.
Keep well everyone.

Hope the weather holds for you but go-for-it, take mac, umbrella, wet cover for legs and enjoy it,

Thanks Widget.
Just got to hope all will be OK with our British weather.
Any one who comes here for a holiday can certainly return home with a tan because they go rusty with the blasted rain.

150 lightning strikes in Auckland, and hail! Just rain here so I suppose we should be grateful.

Well Auckland has been so flooded that there's probably nothing dry enough to burn! :-)

So, where are you. Pleased not to be able to say ; it must be me ;. Come on Maisie, tell us all about your special outing. What is it like up there Laurie. Funny old weather here, nice and warm, no wind but cloud keeps coming over to cover the sun. How is Logan?, bought a new tripple bird feeder and have fun watching the birds trying to shake the pots. G/daughter went to Italy for the Grand Priz and phoned me to say there were floods everywhere and the Grand Priz was being put on another circuit. Within hours I heard again, Grand Priz was cancelled and she was flying home, she sent pictures and everywhere is flooded. Fingers crossed, we are very lucky. Anyone going to try to keep this forum open? Anything will do, if only Good Morning. Take care all, cheers. :please:

We have had lovely weather this week so far.Dry,sunny, warm although a bit windy.I went to see a friend this morning as it was her birthday think she was 77.
I am not seeing Logan until next week.He is growing up fast now,he will soon be 10.We are going away for a weekend break soon.

Have you over 75s had your spring Covid injection yet.?Mine is next Saturday.

Unlucky for your granddaughter having to miss the grand Prix because of bad weather Penny.

I don't feed the birds here as they would try to get into my window. But there are a awful lot of Parrakeets sit on a wire by my window they think its a swing.
